Arras Bibliography

Rulau, Russell, "Latin American Tokens." First edition lists two Arras (mistakenly called "Bolos") on page 107. Second edition lists the same two, plus one more on page 120 (along with some actual bolos).

That's all folks! They do not seem to be listed in Grove's books about Mexican tokens or medals. I've read a number of books about Mexican customs, and some of them mention the Arras in passing, but I haven't found any books that have information about what coins or tokens were actually used. If anyone has anything to add to this bibliography, I'd love to hear about it! e-mail me at stevensf@pullman.com
