Wedding Tokens of the Philippines
I have found a lot of references to the tradition of the Arras in the Philippines, and some places on the web sell tokens for this purpose, but I have not found any tokens that are specific to the Phillipines. I will add information here as I learn it. Many people seem to use either Spanish gold coins (if they can afford them), small Philippine coins, or the same type of tokens that are used in Mexico.
May 2004, MyBarong.com has started make a set of 13 "Unity Coins" for use in weddings. These are large (1 3/16 inch, or 30mm) gold-tone or silver-tone coins. A common "knot" design on one side, and 13 different designs on the other side.
