Mercantile National Bank Hoard

Many of these tokens in TokenCatalog include the note:

"Mercantile National Bank Hoard, Pueblo, Colo. circa 1915"

The Mercantile National Bank Hoard was a bag of maybe 2000 tokens from said bank, all believed to date to before March 29, 1915 when the bank closed. These were nickel and quarter sized tokens which the bank must have acquired in rolls, transactions and such. There were 102 different pueblo tokens in the bag, as well as hundreds of mavericks.

(Information is from the collector who purchased the hoard, which had already passed through a couple hands. I have no reason to doubt the information, but I also have no way to confirm it.)
