Dan writes: In 1997 OPI, the nation's largest manufacturer of nail lacquers, launched Nicole - Colors with a Conscience. Nicole is a new line of lacquers aimed to appeal to the socially conscious young woman. The Colors with a Conscience campaign makes it simple for young women to contribute to four outstanding charities: American Oceans Campaign, Gilda's Club, Rock the Vote and the STARBRIGHT Foundation. With each purchase of Nicole, the consumer receives a token, which can either be deposited into a collection box or mailed directly to Nicole. A donation is made for each coin submitted.
