Renee writes: Can't tell you anything about when or where it came from, but this is what I can tell you. Your 5 Pointed Star is a Celtic Pentagram. The "X" on the reverse side is actually a Rune. To be specific it is a Rune called Nauthiz. It is a Rune for knowing your limits and effectively dealing with your shortcomings. It was more than likely used more as a talisman than as a coin or token.
